hmmmm... i go first... bet you need calculator..

Lindsay is building a swimming pool. On the blueprint for the pool the scale is 3in. to every 5ft. If the length of the pool is 9in. on the blueprint how many feet is the actual length of the pool?

If you ran a rope around the earth (assuming it ws a perfect circle), and then run a second rope around it raised up on stakes 1m high (again, assuming it was a perfect circle), how much longer would the second rope be than the first?

The area of Bryce’s plot is the area of Julianna’s garden. Their plots have one side in common.

What are the dimensions (length and width) of each person’s garden plot?

I think some fractions have been missed by the QZ machinery during translation!!!!!!!

The version I assume you want is this:

Bryce, Duane, Julianna, and Sonya share a 40 feet × 48 feet rectangular portion of the community garden in their neighborhood. Within this space, each has an individual rectangular garden plot.

Bryce is the only one with a square plot. Its area is HALF the area of Duane’s.
The area of Bryce’s plot is TWO THIRDS the area of Julianna’s garden. Their plots have one side in common.
Sonya’s garden has an area twice that of Julianna’s garden.
What are the dimensions (length and width) of each person’s garden plot?

Bryce is square and is half area of Duane and also 2/3 Julianna
Duane is twice size of Bryce
Julianna is 3/2 Bryce
Sonia is twice Julianna

Putting all in terms of Julianna's size

Julianna=J
Bryce=2/3J
Sonia=2J
Duane=4/3J

Total area= 1920 ft squared

5J=1920

so J=384

J= 384
B= 256
S= 768
D= 512

Bryce is square so has sides 16ft by 16ft

Julianna has a side in common to Bryce so hers is 16ft by 24ft

16ft + 24ft makes up a 40ft side

so the other two have a 32ft in their measurements giving
