Our man had at least one thing in common with Elvis' manager.

Given the clue I'll take a punt at Colonel Sanders though it doesn't look much like him in his later years..

We used to have a thread called "Groupies" where questions would be asked regarding top tens or lists of things etc.

I thought I'd post one in here as its topical:

Can you name the top 10 Gold medal winning countries in the Summer Olympics (up to and including London 2012)?

Would any one else like to hazard a guess at the remaining 4?

I'd have thought Italy and Australia would be in there and even though they only participated in 6 Olympics, East Germany was always in the Top 3 in the medal table so I'll try them. I can think of a lot of mights and maybes - I'll try South Korea for the other spot.

That gives us:
USA 974
Soviet Union (pre-1992) 395
GB 236
France 202
China 201
Italy 199
Germany (Pre 1960 & Post 1992) 174
8.
East Germany 153
10.

The last two I must confess I would never have got. Both are European nations however I couldn't name a Gold medalist from either. clues are pretty hard although one nation had a very good triple jumper a few years back and the other had an extremely good football team about 50-60 years ago
Australia are 11th on the list with 138
