Can anyone tell me which sense Stevie Wonder was born without?
Seem to remember seeing this posed on QZ, but can't find it. No info found on tinternet either. TIA Smile

I believe it was his premature birth that caused problems with the growth of blood vessels to his eyes resulting in blindness soon after.
However, at birth I think he technically had all senses.

Stevie Wonder was born in Saginaw, Michigan in 1950, being the third of six children to Calvin Judkins and Lula Mae Hardaway. Owing to his being born six weeks premature, the blood vessels at the back of his eyes had not yet reached the front and their aborted growth caused the retinas to detach.

so i would assume he was born without retinas.

I could be wrong, but I believe he was born without a sense of smell, and retained some vision until he went totally blind at 5 years old.
