Round names - but with a twist

I'm thinking of setting a quiz where the round names are the 'traditional' quiz round names, examples.. General Knowledge, T.V. and Current Affairs, but the twist (if you can call it that), will be that the topic for each round will be a kind of a literal take on the round name.

So, the General Knowledge round will be on famous generals. The T.V round will be on transvestites (I'm reliably informed the T.V is an acceptable abbreviation for transvestite) and the Current Affairs round will be on who is having an affair with whom?

I'm going to need 8 rounds, but am now struggling for some more. I can only really think of Hisstory i.e. His Story, which is a bit of a stretch I know, which could be a round on autobiographies.

Anyone got any more ideas?

I did a round called Common Sense, and it was obviously bassed around the word common. I.e. how many wombles lived on wimbledon common, in which county was Grenham Common, whose autobiography was called "Common as muck" etc

I'm working on a 'Back to Skool' quiz.

We start with assembly and registration ( questions on famous hymns are all i've got at the mo!) we then work through the timetable with PE
( questions on sport) all the way to the end of the school day (questions on old kids' telly)
We will have a morning break section with questions about the sweets we used to enjoy.

I'm sure there are other ways to exploit this theme. Anyone?

There's great fun to be had with the school theme. Did it last year.

Ditched 'rounds' in favour of 'lessons'

English lesson was spelling - use words like 'necessary' which always catch people out.

Had a geography lesson and maths lesson. I did a music lesson - though about classic assembly hymns but bottled it in favour of classic kids TV themes.

Instead of the usual gallon of beer prize I gave away a huge jar of penny sweets from aquarterof.co.uk - the winners were over the moon!

For a picture round I found pics of celebrities when they were children.
