I thought it would be fun if we all contibuted to a seasonal poem in the style of the Clement Clarke Moore classic. I'll start off.
Twas the quiznight before Christmas and the snow lay deep and thick.
Santa was over Whalley bringing a young girl her first sharp stick... _________________ 'What a carve up!' |

But our heroine wanted a pointy stick and some spangly crimson waders... |

But our heroine wanted a pointy stick and some spangly crimson waders...
On the web she'd asked Jeeves to make some recommendations
and as she tugged at the package, it surpassed her best expectations
Alas, Mum was dismayed and said Jus was a lamb dressed as mutton
but little Justine liked the feel of rubber up past her cute belly button _________________ .....the squirrels made me do it! ...... .. .  |

As many years passed and Justine became older.
Her needs became more, her demands became bolder.
One Christmas she screamed “Barbie dolls are a ‘no-no’!â€
I fallen in love with a boy they call Bono. _________________ 'What a carve up!' |
