Have a few ideas installed for my pub quiz.....
Usual quiz on a Thursday night but on a Monday night... With use of dartboard etc.... Was thinking about running a Bullseye themed quiz (gameshow style) .... Anyone ever thought about this that could throw some ideas into the pot that I dont already have _________________ WHOSYIRDADDY

Yeah, I think this would be fun as long as there wasn't too many people. It might get a bit confusing and difficult to organise if there was lots of teams and they all had to get shots of throwing darts?
A couple of ideas using the dartboard. Maybe you could have all questions worth 5 or 10 points in normal rounds, but you could have one round where the number of points awarded was the number someone hit on the dartboard? Or you could maybe decide the number of questions on a given subject? (e.g. the next round is Art and Literature, so if the thrower doesn't like this subject then they can aim for a low number?) |

I think Bullseye was the most legendary quiz show and I would give my right eye to actually host it on the telly.
I do mock-gameshow nights at my local pub i.e Who Wants to win SOMEMONEYINHERE, play your barreds right, The slice is white, family misfortunes, and Bullswhy..
Have some excellent fun but you need a crowd that is really up for it to make it work.
You have to stick with the same format, obviously, no revolving dart boards or neon lights all over the shop, just makeshift stuff. _________________ Its hard to be humble when you're as good as me. |

Good God no.
My wife does the quiz I run, at works "sports nights" she's got a light fitting, a radiator and the pool table, and yes, it was in use at the time.
I'd have to wear body armour. |

Bullseye works really well in a Pub Quiz. I've been using it for my End Game for the last few weeks.
Basically 5 teams are picked out of a hat to play for the rolloever cash jackpot. They have to score 101 with a number of darts (you select the number allowed by picking a number out of a hat ranging from 3 darts to 6 darts).
These means winning the money is a total game of chance giving those that aren't great at knowledge a stab at winning the cash!
It been my most popular End Game in years - I was previously doing a Quizmania/The Mint style End Game with a list of hidden answers. |
