My funny quiz story for today comes from the unlikely source of Little Miss Wildrover who does a quiz on a Sunday with her 4 housemates. If I say so myself, LMW is quite a bright bunny but her housemates somewhat less so. It was LMW's turn at the bar and whilst buying the drinks a question was read out, "Which breed of bird was used in Victorian times in the coal industry to detect poisonous gases?" She returned to find that her friends had come up with the inspired but hopelessly wrong answer of "Mynah Bird". Aw bless. (She then ruined the story for me and shattered my illusions by telling me that she got them to change the answer to....budgie!")
