OMG. Any wisdom went with the teeth, obviously.
Hey, JUS, if you're interested, I posted pics of my roses today on that site. |

Just had a quick scroll thru!
What a lot of varieties you have...........I have never seen the ruffly ones before, only used to the conventional ones that simply unfurl, not the ones that seem to have so many petals. Dont think I've seen purple ones like that either. Very pretty. Your birdbox looks a bit wonky tho' . _________________ Which is worse -- ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care! |

| Its surprisingly well used - more natural possibly. Blue tits were in there earlier, they've flown now. |

There is something very strange going on at the moment with one of my roses. The 'ruffly' one you saw JUS, pink with red edges, may be a rose sport. That's a genetic mutation that produces a completely new rose. If you have a look on the rose site you'll see a discussion about it currently going on.
I'm trying to grow a cutting from it. If it is a sport and it survives, it could be unique. |

Had another glance at it. Had to smile tho' as a "rose sport" sounds like a bush that can move faster than the other roses!
Interesting things genetics and mutations _________________ Which is worse -- ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care! |

Interesting is right. I'm well into Science in general and particularly Physics and Biology.
The interesting thing about this, though, is that if I manage to grow a new and unique rose, it will be mine - I will have the rights to it. If it proves to be popular, and from the reaction so far it might well do so, I might make a significant amount of money out of it. |

Of course, should something wonderful happen, we would like mates rates on here!!!!
