Hi, Like many of you on here, I set a weekly quiz at a local pub.

I do a general knowledge round of 25 questions, which I can prepare well in advance, but each week, Q26-Q30 are added as late as possible & I make those 5 a variety of current affairs.

Sometimes I find those ones are the hardest to write, trying to find things which are not too obvious, but not so obscure that no-one would have read about them.

Does anyone have any advice for me, or a link to a site where I might find something to fit the bill?

Thank you, Sandy x

Wikipedia has a good "on this day" where you could have a couple of questions relating to someone who was born or died on the day of the quiz, or an event from history that happened on that day.

Like CB said the BBC local news home page is a good starting place, similarly The Sun, Daily Mail and Daily Star to name just three have current websites. You know your audience, you may need the Daily Sport!
