Does anyone know for sure who is/was the youngest footballer to have played in the World Cup?
My answer is Norman Whiteside (1982), but am not 100% sure. TIA

| Need to be slightly careful on this - depends what the question is. If it's "youngest in the World Cup Finals" then Whiteside is correct. If it's youngest in the World Cup then that would usually include qualifiers and there was a 13 year old called Souleymane Mamam who played for Togo in the 2002 qualifiers... |
