I recently ran a quiz which included 2 questions that I didn't think were particularly hard but in both cases all but one team went for the wrong answer falling into my trap.

Augusta is the capital of which US state? MAINE is the answer but they all forgot about Atlanta and put Georgia, and

'The boy stood on the burning deck' is the opening line to a poem about which British naval victory? BATTLE OF THE NILE is correct but they all said Trafalgar

Has anyone else had similar experiences as I would love to do a Hefalump trap round.

I still love the old chestnut, "Who is the only man to captain England while playing in the fourth tier of English football? Ian Botham. Another one I like is "If the bricks in a brick wall are 10cm high and 25cm long, how many does it take to complete a brick wall measuring 2 metres x 1 metre? The answer is one, before that it's incomplete.
